In the current times reaching out to people seems to be very difficult. People are more and more disconnected from each other. She wanted to bring joy and hope to the walls. The hours spent on this painting were the hours that the artist thought of how to motivate people to reconnect and bring their families back together. As the woman in the painting is leaving she is looking back and she gives hope that she will not forget the ones left behind and will return. Vallenssia enjoyed very much this process of painting a woman of the age of the Renaissance with the metallic braid that represents tomorrow – the fast-approaching age of the robots. She used acrylics for the entire painting using different types of brushes. The details of the painting are remarkable and done just with a brush. Painting is also protected with three layers of special varnish to protect it from the sun and dust
